oooh I used to read just about everything by Koontz! (and before that Stephen King)
Kinda got tired of his "formula" in the end... but I sure enjoyed the books while I enjoyed them. Like.

same here, they went a bit off for me, but they ruined my ability to handle darkness! did you read any of "The Manitou" by Masterton Char? they were so good

Did you ever read the Dark Tower series by Stephen King? I enjoyed the first one, but never got round to picking up the next. Considering how it ended it sounds like it might of taken a very different turn from the first one. Would you recommend?

I have a faint memory of reading some sort of dark fantasy by King, but can't recall what it was called. I don't think I've read anything by King since...secondary school? :P
