I was wondering if anyone by chance has had this happen to them? Or might have info on what might be going on.
Normally I keep the computer on and don't turn it off, unless I'm going to be away for more than a couple days. Then, I just click on the mouse and a few seconds later the computer comes on and off I go. But today, I noticed that when I clicked the mouse, the computer didn't come on? I looked underneath and the green light that usually comes on, didn't. After clicking a few more times, opening the back, messing with the batteries, etc. it finally came on, but this happened again the next couple times I did this, and one time wouldn't come on for anything and took around 5 minutes before it did. ... Thinking the rechargeable batteries might be low on power or close to dead, I switched them for fresher re-chargeables. But again, nothing. I then put in two new Duracells, and still nothing. When it did finally come back on, I tried switching the batteries a few more times, and it didn't seem to matter which batteries where in, it still did this. So now I'm wondering if the mouse itself is going bad?
It's a magic mouse that came with my iMac, which I purchased in March of 2010. I wouldn't think it should be going bad this soon, but this is the first one I've ever owned, so I could be wrong? Once it does come on, it seems to do just fine as long as I stay active, but once it goes into sleep mode, it's back to trying to get it to come on again. ... Any information you all might have would be appreciated. Thanks
