Last I looked at Below Zero mods they seemed to all be "cheats" or shaders or whatsitcalleds... I prefer mods that add something to the game - like for the original game where you can add more items, plants, energy generators, "batteries" (for the base) and such.

Edit: And that Toad incident was amusing. Tragic but entertaining.

Mods that actually change the game in some way make some sense. There's a big mod for 7 Days to Die, for example, that effectively changes the entire game with additional items, locations, and mechanics, stuff like that is fine.

The mods I saw for BZ were a map because compasses are hard, a storage capacity increase for the truck because limitations and travelling is hard, and a thing that automatically uses stored resources near by for crafting because walking to a locker is hard. Maybe I'll try and make a mod that places all the things required to complete the game in a big box next to where you spawn

I still haven't gotten back to Below Zero, to finish it...

EDIT: And at least in hardcore mode you only die once
