I challenge you to not spin. 
I literally started to feel dizzy after a while and was glad that I wasn't playing in VR.
Back in the day I played the original Elite and the sequel Frontier (played THAT one for many years!) and even though the manual docking was tricky I don't remember them being as tough as this.
Maybe it's me that's just getting worse.

I just travelled across the universe to deliver some stuff only to find out that the stuff wasn't in my cargo, so had to go all the way back to get it and probably spent more on additional cargo space and fuel than I made on the mission... and now have no shields so will probably die

Any an all misspellings are henceforth blamed on the cats.
Well, I got tired of no gaming so I started up Elite, too. Wait, let me just fix something with the Direct X driver. OK now... wait... you need an account. Fill in this form and then verify through the email link. Which doesn't work. Try again. Then wait for the game to load.... slowly...
And yes I'm spinning quite a bit. Might have to change key bindings because my hand and arm hurt from trying to keep the darn mouse still to avoid rolling. I also learned that Enter = chat, and Space = Enter... And now I'm supposed to press Mouse1. I figured that'd be the left mouse button but apparently not? Or maybe I'm still too far from the beacon? 300+ meters? Seems a small distance in space.
