Adventures with old games episode 37...

I am currently enjoying Jade Empire.
It's sort of a cross between Fable (without the funny accents) and the KOTOR games (with kung-fu instead of lightsabers) and thankfully that kung-fu combat isn't too difficult just yet. I'm managing to button-bash without reverting to easy-mode. :)
I'm quite impressed by the facial animation too. I was gonna say it was pretty good for the time but it still looks good today in a low-poly way.

Anyone played 'Detroit, Become Human'?

I've played a demo, my son has played the full game, it looks good, I'll buy it when it's a bit cheaper I think!

Obviously haven't played it but I know it's one of those David Cage games, meaning that it'll be heavy on story and light on gameplay. So if you like Fahrenheit/Heavy Rain/Beyond: Two Souls (and I do kinda like those story things) then you'll probably like this too. :)

I've gone back to the Tribez myself. Missed it, tried to play on the cellphone but hated the size, tried other android emulators and finally admitted defeat and reinstalled Bluestacks. It's latest version seems less buggy, though. But they have some sort of "feature" including Pika points, and the world cup. There's just no escaping that darned footie. Anyhow, the hot weather makes me practically unable to do anything so I while away my time with the Tribez (currently featuring Garfield...) and another game called Family Age (yup, family farm/stone age thingy game). The latter is one of those energy management games which I usually tire of due to the waiting times, but in this one you get new energy decently often and can also cook food to get more. And I like the graphics. :P (The most important aspect of any game, surely? :silly:)
