My latest, bargain-bucket, single-coin purchase, obsolete game is.... Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb!
Hey, it's not Fate Of Atlantis but it's Indy, what could go wrong.
Enjoying it so far. The graphics and animation are a bit ropey in places, I was gonna criticise them more for not being up to the standard of the similar era and theme of Tomb Raider Legend (which I loved and played to death back in the day) but it seems that the Indy game predates it a bit so I'll let it off.
I quite like the mood and the rather casual combat (I don't like any of my games to be too realistic in a punishing way, I like baddies to die quick and my cars to corner easily, preferably with the assistance of magic walls with big flashing arrows!)
But I do find myself yearning for more cut scenes. Not to the extent of Metal Gear Solid though, just enough to keep you engrossed in the story.
