You wrap things in ham? Doesn't that get messy?

*can't think of anything to keep this wheel turning* :P

My latest retro Xbox find is... Silent Hill 2. I've never played any survival horror games before so I thought it'd be worth a coin or two for the new experience.
I'm enjoying it so far, I do like a game with story, and in that sense it reminds me a bit of Fahrenheit with its use of cut scenes and scripted camera.
But walking through that fog, however well rendered it is, might start to get old very soon.

My son got the first silent hill game many years ago, he still says it’s the scariest game he’s ever played. It’s very unnerving isn’t it?

It was certainly a bit creepy when those weird things first started scuttling across the floor even after I'd repeatedly clubbed them with a plank!
I'm sure more scares await me as I head into the fog. :)

I've only played the first Silent Hill, at some point I'd like to play the rest of the series. I should replay the original some time to try and get the other endings I missed.

Yep, still enjoying it, although I wish it gave you a little more camera control. But now I'm out of the fog and in the dark, creepy apartment blocks. The four-legged mannequin things are quite disturbing and I may have just seen the weird red pyramid thing! And some guy called Eddie is vomiting with some disgusting sound effects.
