Naah, it was definitely the naked chick. :P

And speaking of friendly animals, one perk I got from finding all those tablets on the mountain in Skyrim was that I was granted "Voice Of The Sky." Which means for 24 hours wild animals will neither attack nor run away. :woohoo:

So I thought I'd have a stroll with a wild bear without getting attacked!

Enjoy it while it lasts, bear. I'll probably have to kill you next time.

Despite my reservations about corrupting my saves, last night I did indeed try out Skyrim on GeForce Now. To protect my modded saves I started a new game and just played through the opening in Helgen. The Ultra graphics are not enormously different from what I normally get (a bit more detail, a few more trees etc.) but the framerate was delightfully smooth. :)

And I continue to hope that they eventually sort out the Epic/Steam discrepancies on the platform, even more so after noticing that this week's Epic Freebie is Kingdom Come: Deliverance!
I'll be grabbing that on Thursday whether I can play it or not. :P

Ori and The Blind Forest is currently cheap on Steam. I'm tempted, but research suggests that it's only borderline playable for me so...
Always liked the look of it though. It's one of those absolutely beautiful little games that make me want go back and try to code something again. But I know I won't.

I'm currently (since yesterday) obsessing over a sims-like game called home street. Lots of things to annoy me there is. :yoda: But I kind of enjoy the house buildability too :P

Procedure for pulling away on a very very slight incline.
  1. Mount horse.
  2. Check over you shoulder to ensure no other traffic is behind you
  3. Say something like "Come on Roach" to encourage your horse to move on
  4. Fly backwards into the air as your horse leaps into the air rearing backwards
  5. Remain firmly stuck in this position unable to move or do anything but rotate your body slightly
  6. Now close game and restart from previous save point, this time being extremely cautious around any variation in the ground level

Thankfully games of Gwent are the most stable and bug free things in Witcher 3. I'm giving up my life of monster hunting for low pay and poor working conditions to turn pro card player.

Gwent sounds better than Dice Poker.
And that's some excellent stunt riding there, Banj!

I have now claimed Kingdom Come Deliverance and patiently await an announcement from GeForce Now. Sadly all their recent announcements have been about removing games from their list. :(

Meanwhile I'm currently hunting bears for their pelts in Skyrim. And on my travels I found a butterfly in a jar!

I wanted to but there's no way to open the jar. :(
I wonder if I can break the glass somehow. :hmm:

Probably not. But I have collected it and will take it home with me anyway. :)
