I think the cop character should investigate the character wearing other people's heads. :aha:

Wouldn't it be a conflict of interest if I investigated myself?

That's how the game Fahrenheit starts, with you alternately playing the killer and the detectives. (I loved that game... until the story got silly.)

Last night I saw that all the Fallout games are going cheap on Steam. Seeing as I like all the Elder Scrolls games I feel like I might like them too, despite the different setting. A bit of research suggests that Fallout 3 is difficult to run on Windows 10 so New Vegas is the one that's tempting me for just a couple of coins. :hmm:

 Apparently you can die in Observer. While observing.
Now I have to figure out how to avoid that...

apparently the key is to hide... (I don't think hiding behind your hands - or eyelids - would quite work...)

edit: dang :dead:

Maybe I'll try No Man's Sky instead....

Hide harder!

I took the (one-way!!) boat back to Sadrith Mora and was surprised to see how big that place is. When I have to go there I usually just stay in the castle getting lost but there's quite a large settlement outside...

...and there's so many little huts that it took me an age to find the alchemist to complete a little Thieves' Guild quest. But I did eventually get back to the castle in time for a lovely sunset...

...and then it was back to Balmora to talk to Caius. And he's now been called away!
But he promoted me so that I'm now the ranking Blades operative in the area. I'm not sure I'm ready for that responsibility.

Fallout is on sale on GOG too.
Personally I might be more tempted to try Skyrim after all your descriptions.... on the other hand... eh I dunno...

There are better games that individually have deeper stories, or complex puzzles, or more challenging, tactical combat, but Skyrim is by far the best all-round "experience" I've had in gaming and it's an easy game to recommend. Unlike Morrowind, which is a tough sell due to its dated mechanics, regardless of how good it turns out to be.
