And with Bridgerton now finished I've started on La Revolution and Dirk Gently.

Dirk Gently was kind of fun. Completely incomprehensible but still fun. And I really liked the Gently character - I perceived him as more... well, less... less exuberant? :P in the books.

I didn't like Dirk Gently at all. It had little in common with the books and Gently himself was extremely annoying.

The first Dirk Gently episode was a bit of a mess and not what I was expecting but I shall stick with it.

I enjoyed the first one of La Revolution though. The English dubbing was better than expected too. With these things I usually switch to the original audio straight away but the performances were good enough for me to not worry about it.

Well it was ages since I read the books but I remember not caring for them as much as the Hitchhiker's guide or his other works (some of... I'm not sure what all he's done, but I remember a book about almost extinct species and one "dictionary") - and yes the character is extremely annoying but I still liked him. :)

And I liked La Revolution too. I think I'm still waiting for a season 2, though? I can't remember how it ended... Maybe it was ambiguous, to allow for more seasons and also no more seasons :dry: (According to Google there won't be a second season, anyway.)
