Although in his defense he wasn't er... quite himself, to some extent...

Was that almost a spoiler there? If so then well done for not going into more detail. :)
I was quite entertained by the first Thor, perhaps more so on repeated viewings (the second one was a little too long towards the end like most films are now.) I think I mentioned before that I seem to enjoy the "origin" films a little more, as the introduction of the characters and subsequent development gives more room for story. But I'll still tune in for sequels when I get the chance. :)

Thursday I can either watch a new episode of Lethal Weapon, or go see Valerian in 3D (probably with an audience consisting mostly of kids since it's some sort of school break activity and half-price)

Is Valerian see-worthy enough or should I wait for the DVD?

I think Valerian flopped a bit at the box office so there may not be quite as many kids there as you fear. I'd eventually like to see it if only for special effect reasons but I dunno if the 3D will be worth it.
Actually I've never seen any film in 3D. Glasses on top of glasses doesn't sound very practical to me. :)

Glasses opn top of glasses are a bit annoying.... I usually get the frame of the 3D glasses right infront of my eyes (pupils) because they end up too low on my nose, so I have to sit and hold them up a bit in the air all through the movie. Though if it's a good movie I completely forget that I'm doing it, anyway :P

So did I. It seemed like it could be amusing. I rather liked the Flash saying "I've only pushed people and run away" though it would have been nice if it was the same Flash as the TV series. Not that the TV series is anything like I remember the comic from when I was a kid... But it would at least link the TV storyline to the movies...

I believe DC intend their TV and Cinema releases to remain completely separate and unconnected.

and I believe I will make me something to eat instead of going, so hopefully I'll go on Friday instead (now that Midnight Texas, season 1, has ended)
