Started Alias Grace last night and got half way through it.
Not many episodes plus 45 minutes each equals easy binge-watching.
Enjoying so far and may even finish tonight.

I also thought I was getting to the end of Fringe but there's a season 5 that I'd forgotten about. I forget a lot of things it seems.

Successfully finished Alias Grace last night. I do think that... (and you're allowed to click this one, Charlotte. )

Warning: Spoiler!

...the book handled the ending a little better.
The story was the same but the format of the novel where you're reading the character's own words seemed to emphasize the ambiguity a little more than seeing it acted out with a voice-over even though that voice repeatedly told you that things may or may not have happened.
But it still worked and was a good show.

Last night I didn't bother with my usual Saturday night movie and instead went to bed "early" to reclaim that stolen hour. The plan doesn't seem to have worked very well cos I'm still as tired as ever.

I like the one where you get the extra hour's sleep.

Whether uou think it's needed or not usually depends on your own latitude. I personally don't mind the "dark in the afternoon" part in winter but the full daylight at 3am in summer is unbearable.
