Last night I watched 1917. The camerawork was occasionally a little gimmicky and a few times I did start ignoring the story/action in order to play "spot the wipe" but apart from that it was mostly an excellent film. Didn't fall asleep once! :ohmy:

I haven't seen it yet, but I know that some of the transitions between shots use CG jiggery pokery to join the action from one shot to another instead of the traditional pass something in front of the camera or do a whip pan tricks.
