I am half way through The Haunting of Hill House. It doesn't really have much to do with the original story, they have taken bits a pieces of it and done their own thing with them, so they could have called it anything really.

Apparently it's more or less the same people that were haunted at Bly Manor, only Henry wasn't Henry which had me confused for a bit, until I realised he still was a Henry, it was just Mr Crain who wasn't...

And also, apparently American mini-series are much longer than normal mini-series, being, in fact, pretty much as long as a normal European TV-series. :dry:

If the same kids are in it I might watch it, they are easily the best thing about Hill House so far.

I think the kids are different ones but they were fairly good in Bly Manor too. I can't recall being annoyed with their acting skills, like I usually am when they put kids in front of the camera. And I read a review that compared the boy to.... some other horror movie kid... :dry:
