He is indeed in The Mummy but considering the character he's playing he may have got lost on his way to a completely different movie.

Right. him. I forgot him.

and why do they have to call it a "the mummy remake"? Unless there's another The mummy I never heard of. It's certainly nothing like the Mummy with Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz.

I believe it was part of an attempt by Universal to create a Marvel-style "Cinematic Universe" containing all the classic horror characters that they still have the rights to.

Audience reaction suggests that it was a failed attempt. :)
But they're still gonna keep churning them out.

is the mummy a classic horror character? (more like a classic horror staple, isn't it?)

Mummies may be a horror staple and historical fact but The MummyTM is definitely on the list of things they collect royalties on.

Dear fictional diary,

I have now seen season 9 of The Walking Dead. And still it shuffles along slowly going nowhere like one of the deadbutnots / perambulators / wanderisers / munchers / notzombiesbutzombies that exist in the show. Sigh! :dead: :zombie:

Time to stop watching? Perhaps the series is part of a plot to turn everyone into zombies by making them braindead from watching the show forever...

Time to stop watching?

I kind of had when the previous 2 or 3 seasons had so little of consequence that they could pretty much have been skipped entirely without missing anything, but it was available to watch so I decided to give it a go.

Well I like The Walking Dead. So there! :P

And last night my TNG binge reached my all time favourite Trek episode. Not necessarily the best, but my "favourite."

"Darmok and Jalad... at Tanagra." :)
