Sticking with the Star Trekking, I've managed to make it as far as episode 8 of Picard. It's hard going, but I might get as far as the end of the season as long as that's only a couple more episodes. :sleepy:

I have now finished The Alienist and I did enjoy it right to the end. It was sort of like a 19th century Mindhunter with bits of Jack the Ripper and Sherlock Holmes thrown in.
And I'm still continuing with The OA (season 2 now) and it's still continuing to be very odd. :P

Looking up actors in ST Enterprise, that I'm recognising, I realise it's "only" 20 years old. When I started watching I thought it looked "so 80ies" :p I guess CGI and such has come a long way in the past decade or two...

I didn't even think it was that old!

TNG was the REAL 80s show and season 1 does look horribly dated now. It is strange looking back at all those sci-fi shows. Babylon 5 looks really weird now with that early pixellated CGI. And yet Deep Space Nine doesn't look too bad to my eye. I think it's the one show of that era that's aged pretty well both in terms of story and the visual style too.

Meanwhile, I'm currently watching the movie Mary Queen Of Scots and so far it's a bit disjointed and duller than I expected. :S

Edit: ...but it did get better. :)

I can't spoil the movie, I never saw it :P
But I did see spoilers of GoT season 8 when looking for references for that scetchy sketch I did for the challenge... :shakefist:

And now I might go and spoil some of GW2. There's a castle in the air I've never figured out a way to get to. I'm finally caving in and googling the thing. Maybe it's just "decoration" :P
