:P thanks for the tip guys. Good thing I have free TV these days... H1Z1 sounds like one of those animal flu viruses... zombie virus?

Ender's Game is a fairly mediocre film. Nothing terribly ground-breaking and extremely predictable (or maybe I have read the book at some point and just forgot about it). Worth a watch if there is nothing else on TV but not something worth going out of your way to see. The most exciting thing about it was the controversy surrounding it's release.

The controversy? The original author Orson Scott Card is a fairly obnoxious bigot and people that were offended by his views wanted everyone to boycott the film in protest against him rather than the film itself.

I was so disappointed with Enders Game. I was really looking forward to it and I actually stopped watching before the halfway mark. Its just quite dull

hmm well maybe if I really focus on my knitting? There's a couple of romantic comedies to choose from as well but I don't usually care for those much.

OK I've crocheted my way through Ender's Game. Yes predictable and I don't particularly like movies with loads of kids either. There was some good graphics though and I thought it was good that they at least posed the questions about right and wrong. Even if it was all rather "in your face". The whole idea that humanity would depend on kids to fight a war for them, though... Seriously? Can't grownups blow up planets? I thought that's what grownups excel at... :?

Well... I have been knitting lately - a cardigan of some sort for my niece. But since I'll be going to visit her, I don't want to bring what's going to be a present once finished... so I just started crocheting on whatever to keep me occupied and which will give me something to do on the train up north... There's been a lot of talk about plastic and plastic bags lately so I figured I could try to crochet some sort of extra bag... It looks a mess so far :P
