There are lots of square things. :P

I only ever use the square Oil Brush too. But custom brushes can be any shape you like depending on the brush head. I've made quite a few of my own too. I have one for doing starfields, one for adding blotchy texture to skin and one that puts a crackle effect on the paint, although that last one is just a slightly modified version of the default preset. :)

I've always meant to and never got around to making custom brushes. I've done a few patterns and stencils but no brushes. And I think you can make custom erasers too, in artrage 6? Better erasers is something I've longed for and I'm pretty sure they've been updated, yet I haven't even checked out the changes... :dry:

@charlotte yup erasers are now fully customisable! I heard a lot of people were complaining about that exact issue with 5

I don't really use erasers that much. The only big difference between 5 and 6 that tempts me is the impasto custom brushes but that's not quite enough to justify the upgrade costs at the moment.

Not sure if it was in 5 but I’m looking forward to using the 1 & 2 point perspective tool too. That’ll save all my wonky 3D attempts.
