:D

Thanks all.

Been working on a Christmas commission today. Watercolours not co-operating (should've used watercolour paper).

Still sort of happy with it for a traditional piece out of my comfort zone a little.

Inks were done with a Graphik Line Maker pen by Derwent. They are very nice pens. Used the sepia ones but you get black and grey as well. Still to try the line painters of the same brand. Anyone had a go at those?

She is lovely.

By Christmas commission I take it you mean as a present for someone for Christmas and not a work representing Christmas? :silly: Somehow I don't see mermaids as a Christmas theme.
Are you going to post it in the gallery? We can never have too many mermaids there. Great job.

I agree. Very nice work!

The penmanship reminds me of Joshua Middleton. He is one of my favourite comic/graphic artists.

Everything's on the right!!!

Yeah a present for someone rather than Christmas based theme :P

Thanks for the kind words. :) I wasn't aware of Joshua Middleton but checked out his work and it is really something to aspire to. Think I have a long way to go. :D

Here are a couple more done for Christmas.
