I really like the line work in your pieces Hay. This sort of thing is perfect for some unique comic book visuals!

Plus, banana man was/is and always will be awesome! What a hero!!

Cheers Dom. Still trying to find myself / process. :) Banana man is pretty cool surprising he's not been resurrected yet.

Finished these boys recently. Quite happy with it but I'd do something different regarding Lobos hands (or lack of them) if I was to start again.

This nudie rudie Harley Quinn was maybe a couple of months ago. A rare piece finished traditionally.

Looking good, Harle. Really like how ya made the skin tone in the traditional piece. :)

I get sketchy around pencils! ...=D

What did you use to colour her Hay? Was it the markers in the image?

Cheers guys.

Yeah Letraset Pro markers. I picked up a set when I saw them on sale and that lead to buying more and more. So be careful :D

They are pretty nice to work with but they run out! Funny how you get spoilt by digital in some surprising ways. I used bristol board the paper type seems to make a massive difference with how well you can blend the colour on the page.

I use copic markers myself. I bought a bunch from Japan a couple of years back. They have such a wonderful coloured pigment. Just beautiful! But they are tricky to use. Blending is hard!

The bristol board suggestion is a useful one!

Ah cool. I tried copics but found they seemed to dry a bit quicker than the pro markers. Would recommend trying a pro marker or two and see if you find it easier to blend. Funny enough I didn't find the actual blender pen to be that useful. It helped a little on backgrounds when I tried wetting the paper with the blender first but yeah it's not easy. Good fun for a change. :)

The blender is useless!! I have never had a good, or even useful effect from it.

But this Harley piece is quite inspiring, so I reckon I will be getting the old pens out again and giving them a bash!!

Nice work man! Yeah, Lobo needs to always be holding that big ass hook thing. Also great texture on that girls loves!
