Yes we had a tie and thanks to my amazing brain capacity we now have a new poll between our two finalists :) So vote again! And do it by sunday! (and do it even if you didn't vote in the first round!)

Thought I'd weigh in for the second vote:

Robin - The winner for me (by a narrow margin). It's all that cross hatching and my absolute admiration for the quality of line work (that I'm awful at) that pulls you through for a result that really could have gone either way.

Kod - I've always had a slight aversion to 3D work when its produced as a 2D image. Not that yours isn't beautifully rendered and detailed but as Cherry said during the original vote it always lacks some humanism and warmth for me. Then again I often feel the same about Richard Rodgers' architecture and look where that got him :)

Excellent challenge and excellent work all - was a pleasure to see it develop.

No smudge tool was harmed in the making of this image.

Sorry I didn't make it on for the first round of voting, then this tie breaker wouldn't be necessary.
Although I really would have liked to have won a "suit???" :silly: (preferably a purple one with a nice bow tie :X )

Anyway Robin this win should be yours for your well done black and white work. Hopefully, you will be entering the current monthly "Black and White challenge".

Congratulations to Robin! You won! Yay!

Now if I can only find my brain so I remember what I'm supposed to do about all this...
