The lady from the store near me called last night, putting in an order for 10 cheesecakes for the Friday before Christmas. I actually made the same amount the week of Thanksgiving, but from multiple customers.

Well, baking is done on the side, and when time allows.

But have to say, snow trumps baking always. ...Requirement and slightly larger check.

PANIC! SNOW, SNOW EVERYWHERE!!! The whole of the UK has ground to a halt... apparently. I haven't actually seen anything other than lots and lots of rain, but I am reliably informed that the entirety of this country is buried under snow and that I wont be able to go anywhere or do anything because of this supposed snowfall that I haven't experienced.

I've seen snow for a few days now, and not just on this forum.

But the real panic news is snow "in the south". :horror:
It's like they've never seen any kind of weather before down there.

I’m in the South but i’m a Northerner originally & I have to say it’s as bad in Northampton as we used to get up North. I was quite surprised coz we rarely get any extreme weather. No work for me today as school was closed & it’s closed again tomorrow as they can’t get the school site cleared. Win for me
