Swedish Election is today. It's incredibly even between the two "blocks" (basically left/right though there's really only one truly left wing party remaining as politics and sentiments seem to have shifted pretty far to the right over the years).

So, I'm not sure if the results will be available tonight or tomorrow but by then we'll know if our next government will care about people, human rights and the environment or money, getting rid of as many immigrants as possible and kicking down. It's impossible for me to grasp how so many people can vote for the latter group. Though I suspect they don't see them quite the way I do.

Elections on Sunday?
Over here they usually hold them on Thursdays. Don't know why. :dumb:

To keep people from voting due to being busy at work?

When I went to bed the left wing side was (barely) in the lead. When I woke up it was the right wing side. :argh:
How can a fifth of the population vote for a party who even states on their website that they're opposed to democracy*? (In spite of having the word "democrats" in their name  )

* I'm not sure they're still saying this but I know they did previously.

Their work days aren't long enough. They're all planning to "go home soon". :stare:

:woohoo:
I finally got a coffee break (without coffee)
Apparently there were a few people who also wanted one. And then we spent almost the entire break talking about snakes  Two of my co-workers had been out to visit a guy who had applied for permission to get snakes. He already got them, though... Some 30 or so of them.
