Still no moon here... I thought it was going to be red, not evening-sky-camouflage-blue... :(

EDIT It has returned! It's a bit fuzzy to one side, but it's clearly the same old cheese! We're saved! Hooray! :woohoo:

For weeks we’ve had the relentless clear night sky let all the stupid heat in & the one time we want to see the moon full cloud. It’s like a cruel joke

I think I mentioned I have windows in three directions. But the one time I remember there's something to keep an eye out for in the sky, it's in the 60 or so degrees of sky I cannot see. For hours.

I only have windows in two directions but there's a nasty streetlight close to one of them that blocks out a large portion of the northern sky. I only get a clear view to the south, which is OK cos I get to see the moon, the planets, Orion and the ...erm... clouds.

Clouds are cool during the day, especially when they're lit from the back or the side, then you can really see their shape and form, and appreciate just how massive they are. And then when shafts of light burst through it looks spectacular.

But at night? They can just go away!
Just give me the stars! :)

I haven't seen either the sun or moon since the world ended. They appear to have been replaced by wind and rain.
