Well, supposed to be at work, but called in sick after having a pounding headache for most of the night. Think I'm getting, or have, a head-cold. Either that, or a sinus infection. Either way it sucks.

headaches always suck no matter what the cause! (I had one yesterday, I think it might have been the weather, but it eased off in the evening thankfully)

Sorry to hear that, glad you're feeling better today. :)

Actually, mine could indeed be weather related too? The weather we've had here lately, has been crazy. 100-105 heat index days, then thunderstorms most of the nights. Hard not to get sick.

Right now I'm cuddling in bed with my 7 month old who finally fell back asleep.

I always think that I should get back in the habit of making something in the morning like I used to, but I know that this is my last chance to have little moments like these.

Well, looks like I will be off tomorrow and Wednesday as well. Just got an e-mail from our Chief, asking me if I could work the pumping stations tomorrow night for some storms coming through. 1 night shift on, gets 2 day shifts off. Only thing good about working nights during the week. :)

Cuddling is great, and having kids is how I started into digital (though I have gone back to traditional) painting - less toxic stuff for the kids to get into. Last thing I needed was for a toddler to eat a tube of cadmium red. :p

Enjoy these moments, before you know it, they will be obnoxious teenagers. ha ha!
