This is a thread or what ever non art related stuffs you are up to at the moment. And first one to say typing this message on the forum gets a kick in the shins.

At the moment I am supposed to be tidying my room. Riveting stuff. Keep having to shift old copies of IFX.

I'm enjoying my summer vacation, just got away from the TV (Witches of East End) and am considering running off to play Guild Wars 2... :woohoo:

I'm painting a bunch of dead bankers (not a euphemism) but I'm about to go to the fridge to either:
  1. Finish off that packet of Sainsbury's Wafer Sliced Chicken by eating it as if it was real chicken.
  2. Open a cool refreshing lager.

I'm keen on 2.

Yeah, no. 2 sounds nice...

(uh now that I've typed it out, that didn't sound so good to me considering what we usually call "the no. 2" in Sweden - and perhaps elsewhere...?)

(Cautiously posts under that last post and hopes nothing drops.)

I'm typ I'm sitting on my sofa thinking I really need a cuppa, mouth is parched and can't be bothered to get up and switch that kettle on. I did go out for a long walk earlier (over two hours in fact) along the nearby canal through the nature reserve so that's why I feel so inactive.
And I just finished a marathon - of youtube videos Vintagebeef is awsome dude == check out his videos, especially the Minecraft mindcrack season 3 ones. Awesome... :woohoo:

Hmm, filling a gap between our driveway and our future pond with rubble to prevent erosion... making lunch... painting.... helping the dh with burning the half rotted scraps of wood he's currently disposing of with a viking funeral... not this...

Remodeling my kitchen. Just got back with all the new cabinets, (upper & lower) after tearing the old ones out yesterday. ... I also had to tear the entire flooring up last Sunday, after discovering a small water leak from the dishwater. A steady, slow drip in the feed line saturated the floor in what I think was a few weeks. While ripping it all out, found out the previous owners had stacked flooring over top the old stuff. So it was the laminate hardwood, with 2 layers of linoleum beneath and finally the original tiles. Which if they hadn't been glued down, would have destroyed the base wood below, and I would have had to replace all that as well. So for the next week or so, will be tiling the floor, hanging all the cabinets & back-splash and pretty much putting our kitchen back together. Which then frees me up... to get back into the bathroom and finish the remodeling in there. which presently only has the new tub, and greenboard installed. But only having one bathroom at the moment really bites. Someone's always in there!

Well, this has been depressing. :(

I get sketchy around pencils! ...=D

Aw Dave - but on the bright side: Once you're done with the kitchen you can have something to EAT! Yay! :woohoo:

Haha... Yeah, but then I'll be too tired to eat! :P - But I actually left the stove hooked up for just that purpose. :) But oddly we've been either cooking on the grill outside like we did last night, or going out to eat. I can deal with the first one, but don't care much for the later though.

Funny enough, the wife and son are just now looking over the menu for ordering some Chinese Food. But after spending over 3 hours looking at what seems like every cabinet in the place, and making sure to get the right ones per my wife's scrutiny. And then getting them all back to the house, I'm in no room to argue. Plus, I do like Chinese Food. ;)
