having a pet - I hate using the word pet, lets say companion animal - brings a level of responsibility and you no longer have the pleasure of resting, you have to be at their beck and call. Bye bye selfish sleeping

well cats like sleeping too. i'll just have to catch some sleep at the same time. Just now we're merely cuddling though :D

Edit: just now however he'd fallen asleep on my tablet, in (one of) my arms. until i sneezed. although he seems ready to fall back to sleep again. he's obviously gotten used to my sneezing.

favourite spot is defintely on my tablet - or occassionally on the keyboard... how do other cat owners ever get anything done? :P

He's very good at changing settings. He did something to my ArtRage cursor which is very confusing. It's not showing it's actual size but it's not the precise one either nor the tool. Hopefully it'll be settled when I restart this thing...

He also likes just sitting in front of me attentively watching the screen (while effectively blocking my view).

Btw you speak like you have one or more cats but I can't remember if you ever said you did?

I don't know about your version of ArtRage but on mine you change the cursors by pressing 1 or 2 or 3.

When I was very young I had a rabbit that didn't last very long, I'm clearly not a rabbit person. :)
Then, growing up, I had two cats, the second of which lived to an impressive age, for a cat. But I haven't had any pets in the last 15 years although I clearly remember what it's like. *rubs scar on chin*

I do miss having a cat but, like with most things, there's no way I can afford it. Unless I get something like Grumpy Cat that can become an internet star and pay for his own food and vet bills. :P

Nightly progress:
For the first time I've slept without being attacked during the night. (That's not to say I've slept all night, but I've slept reasonably well :) )

Also tried catnip spray yesterday. Oh my.
