Right click the desktop and select Nvidia control panel from the popup menu...



You should get something like this...



Then click the "my display is not shown..." linky under the list of available displays. Does that do anything?

I only have the 3D settings in that whole list to the left...

In that case perhaps everything is going through your Intel graphics instead

I think I'm going to turn the whole thing off, go and bang my head against the wall for a while and then return to see if things magically restored themselves without my help...

well it didn't work.
Intel has a similar setup btw, (same place as Nvidia) but it can't detect the monitor....

(on the other hand file explorer is back to pretending it's open...)

well I used the restore point from aug. 18th and still no monitor... grrr... And now I have to reinstall bluestacks if I want to get that to work. Though I'm considering not. I can always replay tribez on FB I guess... Still, it sucks that I have reached all islands and paid plenty of real money to get there, and I'd have to restart from scratch... Guess I'll have to see how much I miss it

and just now I tried hooking the monitor up to my old desktop and it came on just fine... *sigh*
