My stick is better than bacon!

 

The combination of rigging AND a cloth sim is ...erm... interesting? :S

But Yoda can now pose and blink and grimace just like a muppet. :)

Also I just added some grungy dirt to my X-Wing and.... it didn't save the damn texture AGAIN!!! :facepalm:

Get a post it note, write "SAVE TEXTURE FILE!" on it, then stick it right in the middle of your screen.

Maybe there's a mod for Blender that goes "Did you save your texture file?" every time you try to close the program... :dumb:

Or, better still, it could just save it as part of the .blend file when I click save. Because when I click save... I am indeed trying to save. :stare:

There is actually a little message that flashes up when you close the program but it appears as part of a window that I'm expecting to click "No" on and I only see it when it's too late.

Although in this case it happened differently as it reverted to the previous saved image when I switched to paint a separate object.

One day... One day soon... I WILL finish painting this damn thing. :lol:

Well worth the work (says I, who did none of it but is currently "playing" with Blender and mostly cursing and threatening to throw the computer out the window...)
