yeah I meant to say shifting it down.... which I did, a bit. and then I proceeded to make a complete mess... currently I'm trying to just get the forms right without zooming in.... hopefully it will look better eventually...

It sort of looks like the horizon line is where the top of the hills recede in the distance, but I know if the horizon line is low, you're looking up, and when it's high, you're looking down.

That's a great start Charlotte I like the shady character riding the beast and the overall lines of the beast.
I think I finally have a story so here is an update.

I like the action that you've introduced there oaktree. It gives a bit of depth and drama to the image too.

Meanwhile.... Another day and another poorly-executed bad idea goes in the bin. :(

I hope someone else finishes because my attempts have been shocking this month.

What better way to spend a heatwave than trying to paint a snow beast. :S

After all the previous failures I tried a different idea today, going back to a more orthodox yeti thing that seems to bring its own blizzard with it.

The anatomy is all over the place and the landscape isn't much better but it's a bit of progress that hasn't been thrown away yet.

You've made more progress in one day than I did that one day when I made some progress...

Some great ideas so far, I sort of want to barely show my monster for forshadowing, hope that's ok? I might be able to finish by the deadline

I hope you do finish by deadline! Looks good so far although I'd associate those vines with a humid swamp rather than snow... I'm curious to see where it goes from here :)
