CGAN May 2018 - Mermayds

Nice to see a couple more.
I was hoping to be further along with mine but I keep doing the face wrong.
And I haven't even covered up the hands yet.

This is turning into a terrible struggle. I hope someone else finishes this month because I don't have high hopes for this.
I've re-repainted the face at least four times now, so I've moved back a couple of steps to try and redo it again from scratch. Faces are usually the things I feel most comfortable with so it's annoying to get stuck in a failure loop.
But at least I've sorted out the hands now.

I always enjoy doing Mermaid images so I couldn't let this challenge go by without at least entering a a sketch So here is an idea I had.

Mermaid in a goldfish bowl!
Wish I'd had that idea.

And I like your pose too, Banj. It has a lovely rhythmic flow to it.

Hope you both make some progress in the final week.


Meanwhile... I continue to cover things up with more fish!

If we just cover up more things with fish we'll all be finished in time.

I like the steampunk mermaid thing. All the best ideas are ones I'd never imagine having.
