After seeing Banj's disappointment at the state of modern film-making I thought I'd take it upon myself to cheer him up by doing his favourite Star Wars character.

Wonderful, I look forward to seeing it when you post it ;)

OK, then. Let me think and read your thoughts... Bor Gullet will know the truth! (but you won't get that reference yet.)
Hmm, I think it'd be a minor character, somebody in the background who becomes some kind of cult hero.

Porkins?

Or maybe... Nien Nunb?

That second one was hard! Took three attempts and then had to do a bit of pencil under-drawing.

Hey, cool lettering, Kaz! Love the 3D look to those smooth strokes. :)

Do you believe in time ... travel?

Bit of a quick one with some sharpie darks. Would have taken longer but I can only hold my breath for so long. :)

Well... not really ink but only one brush and Eraser. Eraser might be cheating ... :P

Cool little devil! I've used eraser too - we embrace cheating in this thread! :pirate:

That looks great, segujo. I like how the lines are loose and sketchy at the bottom but become more refined as you move up the figure.

This one has way too much gunk...

Thank you, Kaz. :)
Although I wish I could redo that area where the chin transitions into the neck. The chin is a bit too sharp a curve and those coils of hair don't read as well as I'd hoped.
But once you commit to a gunky line you can't take it back.

Where's that "cheating" eraser when you need it?
