Once again Schizo comes in like a wrecking ball (almost literally this time) with a great concept and fantastic, early, execution. Love it.

Feeling much happier with mine now, those weird lights down in the belly of my ruin has given it the hook I think I was missing.

Schizo: It's always good when you walk into a room and then casually pull out a masterpiece.
I love the sense of scale in this. That creature looks huge and heavy with such an impressive presence. I can almost feel the ground tremble and hear the bellowing noise it would make.

Atto: Yes, the last panel is the one I'm thinking of modifying. I was considering shrinking the layer above and enlarging that final bit of rage. But I'll decide after I've made more progress with the other panels.
And speaking of progress, that's a fine bit of improvement in your picture. That glowing light at the bottom makes such a difference, giving it an extra sense of mystery to the narrative and something compositionally interesting to capture your eye.

Wow some great work here!

I wanted mine to be like an old poster ad.
I only have today to really work on it though :( but it was fun anyway!

I took inspiration from old 50's poster and Gil Elveden :)

Nalo: Welcome to the challenge!
That's a fantastic pic you've got there. It looks like a poster advertising Mars as a holiday destination! And I suddenly feel like I want go there. :)
Great work on the face. It's loose and suggestive yet clearly describes the form and expression. Nicely done.

And a little first post tip.. after you add and upload each attachment if you click "Insert" then the pic will be displayed at full size in the post instead of small thumbnails.

Welcome Nalo, some really nice work for your first post.
Just checked out the finals thread and the finished image is very cool, especially the tag line which made me giggle.
I was going to do something similar with mine, a cover of Life magazine, as in LIFE: On Mars. We'll see if I still get time to do it.
Could be quite a nice opportunity to mention yours in a tag line on mine.
