CGAN site maintenance notice was created by Banj
The site will be closed temporarily sometime during the afternoon (UK time) on Monday 11th of February for some updates. During this you wont be able to log in and use the site, it shouldn't take more than an hour or so (
).
The Private messaging system will be replaced. Any existing messages should transfer from the current system but that isn't guaranteed so it is advisable to save any info that may be there if you want it.
Due to Google shutting down Google+, the G+ site log in option will also be removed (along with the link to the CGAN Google+ page). A Google account link may return at some point in the future, but I can't say for sure at this time.

I've never had a facebook account (sounded creepy right from the start,) never been on Twitter. Or Snapchat. Or WhatsApp. Or Instagram. Or MySpace. Or Bebo. 
I technically do have a Google account just to install Play apps on my Android tablet but it doesn't get used for anything else.
I am on Reddit, but that's OK because it asks for no information at all except username/password. (Although much to my annoyance I did recently have to conjure up an email to reset my password after BaconReader repeatedly botched up the login process!
)
